Guitar is an Atlas D-469 Mercury, S/N 22430

The guitar is beautiful and sounds really great. I haven't even changed the very old strings yet, but it has such a clear, full sound with a lot of sustain. Sounds great fingerpicked or strummed. Not sure of the woods but I would guess Sitka top and beautiful Rosewood sides and back. Has really nice inlay around the top, rosette, fret markers and "Atlas" in the headstock. I thought the black plastic coated tuner knobs were interesting, too. The guy I purchased from had gotten the used guitar as a gift when he was a juggler at Opryland 20+ years ago, so I guess it's 25 to 30 years old. The action is nice but there's barely any saddle left - it has a hump under the bridge and I'm trying to level that out. If I can't, I might try a Bridge Dr. device I've seen on the internet. I've never worked on guitars before so if you have any advice for the hump/saddle issues, I would appreciate it.
